Engagement with Business Partners

Otsuka group aims to contribute to the solution of social issues through our business activities, including through our business with our business partners, and we hereby establish the Otsuka Group Business Partner Code of Ethics to articulate our uncompromising commitment to the highest standards of ethical conduct to be achieved in cooperation with our business partners. The way we do business is as important as the outcome of the business we do, and this code sets expectations and requests for how business partners will conduct the business.

Otsuka group companies also have established a due diligence policy, and we conduct due diligence for business partners, as needed, to evaluate risks from corruption, violations of human rights, abuse of privacy, and other issues.

Communication with Investors and Analysts

Otsuka Holdings timely and effectively discloses information founded on the principles of transparency, fairness, and business continuity. Our actions are intended to improve sustainable corporate value and a fair market evaluation through dialogues with shareholders and investors. We distribute information through our IR website, sustainability website, integrated reports, environmental reports, shareholder communications, and shareholder meetings. We also hold individual meetings with institutional investors to discuss our direction and initiatives for sustainability. The feedback and suggestions we receive are then used for making improvements for management, business activities, and sustainability initiatives.
