Otsuka Holdings Selected as a Constituent of ESG Investment Indices: FTSE4Good Index Series, FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index, and FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index

Otsuka Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President and Representative Director, CEO: Makoto Inoue) announced today that it has once again been included in three major ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investment indices. The company has been selected as a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series*1 and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index*2 for the fourth consecutive year, and of the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index*3 for the fifth consecutive year.

These indices, developed by FTSE Russell, a leading global index and data provider, are designed to measure the performance of companies with strong ESG practices. They are widely used by investors worldwide as benchmarks for sustainable investment and as an important reference in evaluating companies' ESG initiatives.

The Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) of Japan, one of the world's largest pension funds, has adopted the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index as criteria for its investment management.
