Otsuka Holdings Launches Otsuka Digital Academy to Further Accelerate the Development of Digital Human Resources

Otsuka Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President and Representative Director, CEO: Makoto Inoue) launched its human resource development platform, Otsuka Digital Academy, in July 2025. The academy is a cross-group platform designed to develop leaders who will promote digitalization and to raise digital literacy levels among all employees.
Across the Otsuka group, each group company has conducted unique digital training programs, while Otsuka Holdings has implemented group-wide initiatives to promote digitalization in Japan.
The newly established digital academy offers enhanced support to help participants apply what they learn in training to their work. The academy not only continues to support business implementation, but also connects learning to practice by offering follow-up training. Additionally, training will be provided to enhance the digital literacy of all employees. The goal is to build a cyclical system that begins with individual attempts at digitalization, leading to the accumulation and sharing of insights and successful cases. These are then applied across diverse businesses and functions that shape total healthcare. As a total healthcare enterprise, the Otsuka group aims to create new innovations through this process.
